Climate normals (mostly 1991–2020) from national meteorological services, NOAA and WMO for four major Caribbean, Atlantic and Pacific coastal cities; ranges span those cities. Categories are indicative estimates for the site types shown.

Caribbean projects often place condensing units and chillers within a few hundred metres of the sea, facing the trade winds. Hurricanes carry spray and salt well inland, and strong sunlight ages exposed casings and coil faces.
The Atlantic side of the continent is humid and tropical, so coils stay wet for long periods. Parts of the Pacific side are dry, but onshore winds still carry salt, and large mining and processing regions add acid mist and dust.
Island projects and remote mines are served through transhipment and long inland legs. Coating before shipment, careful packing and a field repair kit for touch-up are worth more here than where local applicators are close at hand.

We reply within 24 hours with a coating recommendation and quote.
Packing is specified for the extra handling at hub ports, and the packing is photographed as part of the batch record.
PG-S1 applied by dip for most beachfront units, and PG-C where units face direct spray.
Mining and processing areas with acid mist or dust need the chemical-resistant PG-C system, plus filtration and gentle cleaning.
