Climate normals (mostly 1991–2020) from national meteorological services, NOAA and WMO for five major coastal cities in the region; ranges span those cities. Categories are indicative estimates for the site types shown.
Waterborne polysiloxane (sol-gel)
Waterborne two-component
Air-dry two-component, chemical-resistant
Transit time depends on the destination and the schedule, and is confirmed with each quote.
Across the region coils stay wet for long periods, so corrosion that would pause in a dry climate runs all year. Coastal cities add airborne salt, and island sites are coastal almost everywhere.
Typhoons push salt spray and wind-driven rain much further inland than day-to-day sea breezes. After a storm, coils carry heavy salt deposits that stay wet in the humid air.
Industrial parks near the coast combine pollution, salt and humidity. Factories there should be treated at the higher end of the range, moving to PG-C where acid gases are present.

Yes. Coated stock for coastal regions can be ordered by model and quantity, with the batch report covering each shipment.
Storms carry salt spray further inland than normal onshore winds, so sites a few kilometres from the coast should be treated as coastal.
In humid coastal areas it is often worth it, especially for units that treat fresh outdoor air.
